Crooked Creek Report

              2008

June 2nd 2008

Two miles downstream from Rim Shoals is the confluence of Crooked Creek with the White River. Due to high water conditions on the White River you can access over one mile of lower Crooked Creek.

In this area you will find smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass, sunfish,

bluegill, drum, carp, gar and trout at the confluence.

With the current river levels on the White River its nice to have an alternative which such variety and quality fishing.

I spent Monday afternoon in this area and had a great day including one 20 inch 4.5 lb largemouth on a Clouser minnow
(cop color-- Black-Silver-White) several other bass up to 2lbs, and more bluegill then I could count. Even hooked a gar.

There may have been

eight units running on the White but it didn't spoil a great day of fishing.
